He's experimenting with standing alone for a few seconds here and there. He'll let go, clap at himself, and then grab on again, its really cute. And he's walking alongside the walls and all the furniture then he gets down to crawl when there is a gap. The little car he's sitting on below unfolds and he can push it around, which he loves doing. I think he gets a little annoyed at me becasue I hover but he hasn't fallen in a long time so I think he's gotten the hang of it. For whatever reason he really likes to be chased so I pretend to chase him down the hall and he gets really excited and starts squealing.
We are going to paint the bathroom this weekend so I'll post pictures next week. Unless it turns out bad...then there will be no pictures, haha
Babyproofing: Does this ever end?! We (by we I mean Anthony) mounted the speakers on the wall and got rid of the speaker stands so that seemed to help alot. The shelves are all bolted to the walls, the outlets are all plugged, the cabinets are locked (some, not all yet). We need to put a lock on the oven because that seems to be a really exciting place that Jace wants to check out. I bought the latch today and some covers for the stove knobs so we'll get those up this weekend. But I guess I'm learning that you can babyproof for 10 years and never feel safe...you just have to watch!
And last but not least...I want to tell you about my latest deals: I went coupon crazy and saved 48% on our grocery bill last week without having to compromise or change any of the things we usually eat. I was pretty excited...I still am...48%!! I'm going to round that to half, haha!
Dillards is having 70% off of summer shoes right now which means they are having 70% off of everyday shoes here in the valley. The intention was to get a new pair of shoes for Anthony but they didn't have many men's shoes so somehow I ended up with two new pair, haha. They also had 70% off alot of clothes but I didn't feel like clothes shopping and Anthony must not have either because he only got one shirt...but it was only $7!
