It's been a while

Its been a long time since I've updated. I tried to do it once a week...that didn't last too long as you can see!

We bought Jace a hi-chair last weekend courtesy of funds from my Aunt Lizzie :-) He seems to really enjoy sitting in it and enjoys eating even more. I'm not really sure what we started though because he is eyeing everything we eat now and I'm just waiting for him to swipe something off my plate one of these days! I'd like to make his baby food myself so I'm going to at least give it a try. We'll see how time consuming it is...I'm not a big fan of anything that takes too long or is overcomplicated, haha

All seems to be going well on the Chula front, she is interested in Jace but only slightly so thats good. She definitely keeps alot more distance now which is great. Jace was jumping around in his jumperoo yesterday getting kind of wild and she was right by him sleeping (or at least trying) so that was nice to see. Speaking of the jumperoo, I had really wanted to get a doorway jumper (because they are so cheap) but after talking to people, they didn't really seem very safe. So we ended up getting a jumperoo from some lady on craigslist for only $40! Jace LOVES it! If we would let him, he would bounce all day long!

I think I might get him another one for Margaret's house, although I feel bad because its turning into baby central over there! One thing I didn't realize when I was pregnant was that baby gear takes up so much space!! We have the bouncer on the kitchen counter (yes, I know its only supposed to be on the floor) the swing, jumper and high chair in the front room and then occasionally the activity mat on the couch or the car seat on the coffee table. Jace has alot more than I do....hmmm

Last but not least...I think Jace needs a hair cut. If I don't comb his hair behind his ears, it completely covers them. I'm thinking of using a comb to bring the hair away from his head and then trimming with the clippers. But he's so squirelly, I'm scared to buzz his brain or chop off an ear. I guess that's where my Mom comes in handy. I make her do everything first and then I try my best to replicate, haha :-)

I'm taking Jace to get his pictures taken today, wish me luck, I know I'll need it!
