I have this need to keep myself busy all the time. I don't enjoy sitting down and doing nothing, I feel like time is wasting! And because of this I tend to take on a whole lot more than I can handle and then I get stressed out and bring myself to the brink of a nervous breakdown. I started a prep course for the CPA exam at the beginning of the month, I've got a lot of stuff going on at work that is stressing me out, I have a few tax returns to finish, Jace just figured out (grew tall enough) to climb on all the furniture, and I REALLY need to do something about my eating habits. I seem to be eating less and less food and more and more candy every day, which is probably the reason I have had a headache for a week! I need a candy intervention! So back to Jace's climbing- he can now get on the couch and the kitchen chairs. He can climb up his slide from the stairs and from the slide part, he can easily and swiftly open all the doors in the house and I made the mistake of letting him watch me lock a door so now he can unlock them too! He's been throwing more fits than usual accompanied high pitched screams. So basically what I'm trying to get at is that he is a toddler now! On the good side, he gives hugs and kisses when you ask (if he's in the mood!), he likes to rub my arm all the time when I carry him, he can take off his clothes by himself, he loves to sit in your lap and read books, he is starting to talk more, but he gets really frustrated when he can't get his point across, and he's eating vegetables again. He has a really perfect level of stranger danger. He is reserved, quiet and a little scared of strangers at first, but he is very friendly and sweet once he feels comfortable. Here are a few pictures from the past week or so...
Did I ever mention that we had to buy an external hard drive to store the 5 million pitcures we have of this kid?! :-)
PS, I don't feel like spell checking so hopefully you were able to read everything!
